Eric Donald Dahl

He is survived by his devoted wife, Sue Ann Dahl; his children, Christine Davies and William Dahl; his son-in-law, Wayne Davies; and his beloved grandchildren, Layla and Jack Davies. He also leaves behind his sisters, Jane Huston and Susie Seykoski, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Bette Sivert.

Eric worked for many years as an engineering assistant with Verizon, where he was known for his dedication and professionalism. Outside of his career, he had a passion for photography, music, and history. He was actively involved in his church community and found great joy in judging Destination Imagination competitions, where he supported creativity and problem-solving in young people.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, June 21 at 1:00 PM at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Jacksonville. All who knew and loved Eric are welcome to attend and share in honoring his memory.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Eric’s memory.

Eric will be remembered for his quiet strength, thoughtful nature, and deep love for his family and community. He will be deeply missed.
