The hills are alive with the sound of music. Now, Heaven resounds with the Song of Frances Seaton. Her Song was love. Her Song was acceptance. Her Song was compassion. Her Song was giving—and then giving some more.

Her Song never left anyone she met unchanged.

And just like Mom & Grandma:
She did not take her Song with her.

She left it with us.

She was (and is) one of God’s most special children. 
If you come the cemetery to pay respects and visit, 
when you leave, check your heart…

…you just might find yourself singing.

Hey Buddy,
It was great talking with you yesterday (7/9/10)...I miss you, brother.  You know my heart aches with yours...I miss my 2nd "Ma"!  Thank God for the blessed hope we have in Christ!  She's probably cookin' up some goodies for her boys right now--I can't wait.  Stay in touch.  I love you, man.

Grandma Francis always told me I was her son and I felt like it.  Her smile always let me know I was loved.  Her eyes always let me know I was accepted.  They don't make em like her much.  I look forward to seeing her again when I get home.

Craig and Family,

Frances was such a wonderful lady..full of life and she was never a stranger to anyone.  Her presence will be missed, but her spirit remains with us.  The life she gave to all of you can still be lived through each of you..she would want that.  You living life to its fullest will be her legacy.  She is with her heavenly Father and that gives us great peace and hope that we will one day again see her face to face.  You know this is what the Lord was believing when His son died... His presence/Spirit would live  in those who believe in Him.  they would reflect His goodness, His life living in us...so it is with Frances...part of her still lives on in all of us who have been touched by her and we reflect that beautiful facet of her life in our life.  She Lives!!!

"Momma Frances" took us all on as if we were her own flesh and blood. She was always there to encourage you. Once I was shopping and I heard two women just laughing it up - LOUDLY. The one woman was trying to cheer up the younger one. I came to the conclusion that they didn't even know eachother. As I was being touched by the comforting conversation they shared, I realized that this voice was sounding more and more familiar. Sure enough...it was Momma Frances just being herself with a perfect stranger!
Her memory will always make me smile and thank God that I was able to see a glimpse of Him through her life.

We cry, not for Frances who has gone home before us, but for ourselves, because we will be here a while longer without her. We cry for how much we will miss her smiles, hugs, kind words, and love.  But her love for us goes with her, as ours for her stays with us, to love her forever here in this world, and to help guide us to heaven to meet her there.  I want to be like Ms. Frances when I grow up.  Kind, comforting, gentle, loving and most of all giving.  May your hearts heal from the sorrow of your loss, but the love she left you, warm you and keep you safe till you meet again.  Much love. Judy Ducote-Long

Dear Craig,

I wanted to write while the service was still frsh on my mind. I was touched by the music, sermon and the overall service. Your song, "Just Enough Grace" was a great inspiration and I thought of how much Grace I have been given over the years. Just enough to know I'm saved, just enough to keep me in health and healing, just enough to keep me growing, just enough to keep me in his will and just enough to make it through. Amazing grace! I know his grace is with you even as I write. 

Deering was used mightily by the Lord with his message. I told Mark after the service that Deering was not the object seen, but only heard and Frances was the one pictured as he spoke - not an easy task, but the way it should be.

Your mom always spoke to me when she visited and she was a delightful lady. I wish I had known her better. You know my mom is 95 the 23rd of May and I feel the same way toward her as described by all who knew your mother. What gifts from God!

I was particularly impressed by the music selection. It was great! Not religious, but songs that touched the heart and spoke of the Family's feelings for her. Powerful! I'm glad we are friends and our love and prayers are meant to support you at this difficult and precious time.

It's hard to believe our Father has taken Frances to her heavenly home. I miss her very much. She was a dear sweet person. We had many good times together. She was like an older sister to me and I love her very much. But I see her every time I see a bird, a butterfly or beautiful flower. So, her spirit is with us. Thank you for asking me to sit with the Family. That was a kind a caring invitation and a special honor for me. Her service was lovely. You guys did a wonderful job and I know it must have been difficult for you. But, our Father gives us strength and courage we need in times like this. With love and prayers, Wanda.

Our Grandmother/Mother/Aunt/Mother-N-Law Frances was the sweetest woman you will EVER meet. She is what God's gift of Grace is and was. Her sparkle in her eyes was God's reflection. She is looking down on all of us and saving a place for us when it is our time to go home. My deepest remorse was being so far away and being able to spend as much time with her as I should have living in Virginia. I love my family and know that love is the most important gift that Gramma left for me. To know how important family is and to just love one another no matter what. Gramma Frances was a Woman of Influence and if you ever want to know what grace is you can look at her and picture it. I miss you calling me/us "Sugar". You told me that everything is going to be ok and that you are fine and I remember hearing your voice and I know that it was you. I know that you are dancing and walking on golden streets....I love you and miss you.....Love, Amy

Our hearts are indeed saddened at the news of aunt Frances' passing . Although we lost track of all of you for several years, it was a joyous ocassion when we learned of her whereabouts, and had the opportunity to come and visit with her and Shawn. That visit reminded us of just what a beautiful and loving person she was. We've been blessed to know such a wonderful woman. She was a loving woman of God who invited us to call her "Grandma."  Ever kind, no matter what...her sweetness will be missed.
