I am so blessed to have met miss Helen and bro todd 34 years ago! 
Bro Todd always stayed in lobby till all the young ones got their tootsie rolls and miss Helen would walk with those gorgeous suits she wore to her job in a lawyers office.
She saw me one Sunday and walked right up to me and “ Hey there I’m Helen Todd , the candy man’s wife “!
She gave me such a hug that was very genuine. She was good to talk to get advice.
I just knew if anyone asked for prayer she was the one who had Gods ear! I’ll miss you with all my heart and soul!  I know she was so grateful that Teresa abs Carey we’re next door. The food Teresa made. Miss Helen has a wonderful family and so happy she got to hold and play with that great grand baby. That’s why I had to make a canvas out of the picture of the both . Helen was a cousin by marriage but as far as we were all concerned she was a born member. She was a faithful servant of God and always the first to offer assistance when family members passed. Her laugh was dynamic and lit up the room. She was a special woman and will be missed but I am sure she is bringing much joy in heave .Linda Moon Gregory

Truly sorry for your family’s huge loss. Mama Todd was a beautiful lady inside and out. Back in 2010, Mama Todd helped lead me to the Lord. She talked with me, as well as Miss Sybil, and walked up to the alter and prayed over me. I will always remember her words while up at the alter that day.  I will spend eternity in Heaven because of the love Mama Todd showered over me. You will forever be in my heart. Love, hugs, and prayers to her  family. 

What an honor & privilege it was to know both Ron & Helen Todd… They made me feel welcomed from the moment we stepped through the doors of University Baptist in 1977.   As a newly married couple, my husband was soon deployed while serving in the Navy, leaving me in a strange town and no family; they quickly became my surrogate parents.  Precious  precious people whom our Lord used to touch many lives including mine♥️

I was sad when i found out you have pass away you look up too very much and you are such a special person and i love you so much thank you for all the words and wisdom you have given to me .. I will miss you so much R.I.P.

Bill and I have sweet memories of time spent with Helen and Ronald during our early years at Beaver St. And Jacksonville Baptist Temple.  They were sweet, godly people! May the Holy Spirit wrap the family in His arms at this precious time.

Helen was predeceased by her husband, Rev. Ronald Duane Todd Sr, as well as her Great Grandson, Caleb T. Todd, and is survived by her children: Ronald D. (Sharon) Todd Jr, Mark A. (Cathy) Todd and Teresa Todd (Carey) Shank; sister, Gerrie Bumpers; grandchildren: Ronald Todd, III, Lindi Todd, Rebekah (Aaron) Aagaard, Zachary (Emily) Shank and Lauren (Devon) Nixon; great-grandchildren: Colby Todd, Kyleigh Fischer, Logan Todd, Ashlyn Todd, Lennon Shank and Isabelle Nixon; and a host of extended family and friends.
