Where do I start, so many wonderful memories of holiday dinners, playing around his house, and his kind demeanor, patience and sense of humor. The times our family spent with him and Betty Jo will stay with me forever. My prayers are with the family, I know he will be missed.

Dearest Green Family:
We are so very sorry to hear of Bert's passing. We've always remembered his warm demeanor and smile. He was always so patient and kind with us neighborhood kids even when we were relentlessly asking him when his homemade ice cream was going to be ready. Please know you are all in our thoughts and prayers with heartfelt sympathy.
