Jack Lindbergh Wright, 90, passed away on June 3, 2018, He was born in Elkhorn City, Kentucky and moved to Orange Park in 1973 from Erwin, TN. Jack was a graduate of East Tennessee State University, served during Korea and retired from CSX Transportation in 1988. He was a member of Island View Baptist Church and a 60 year member of Centennial Lodge 491 F and AM, Flag Pond, TN. Mr. Wright is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Virginia "Ginny" Lake Wright; 2 sons: Jack (Dana) Wright Jr. and Randall Todd (Mili) Wright; step-son, Gordon (Gloria) O'Steen; sister, Ruth Coleman of Elkhorn City, KY; 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. A very special thank you to Senior Helpers, Haven Hospice and Shane McClanahan PA-C for their comfort and care. Funeral services will be held 2 PM, Thursday, June 7, 2018 at Island View Baptist Church, 900 Park Avenue, Orange Park, FL with Pastor Kevin Collison officiating. Visitation will be held from 1-2 PM at the church. Burial will follow in Jacksonville Memory Gardens. Please make memorial donations to Island View Baptist Church or Haven Hospice.
