James H.”Buddy” Savage, Sr., 78, passed away August 25, 2010. He was born in Chattahoochee, Florida and had lived most of his life in Jacksonville. He served in the US Air Force and Air National Guard for 40 years, he was employed with the Duval County School Board for over 35 years, as a Warehouse Manager, the City of JAX, Manager of Sports Complex parking and was a member of the William Barnett Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite Bodies , Morocco Temple of the Shrine. He was preceded in death by his wife Diana in 1996 and is survived by his son James H. Savage, Jr. (Rebecca), daughter Sara Diana Savage and a number nephews. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, August 30 with visitation one hour prior to service in Hardage-Giddens Rivermead Funeral Home, 127 Blanding Blvd. Orange Park, FL 32073 followed by interment in Jacksonville Memory Gardens, Orange Park FL.
