Dear Leanne and family,
It has been 29 years, 11 months and 2 days since Gerry rescued a baby lawyer whose car battery died on his first day at the job. I can't tell you how many more occasions he helped me over the years. He will be greatly missed.

Dear Leanne and Family,
We will all miss Gerry; he touched all of our lives, for the better. Gerry was a special part of our family for many years. We've shared the greatest of times (a camaraderie), but in times of need is when Gerry shined. After my father's passing, I still in the service, no family in the area, Gerry was that true friend who was always there whenever needed. He possessed the True Irish Heart of Kindness! We will keep you in our prayers.

I had the privilege of working with Gerry at APR. He truly was a character and loved by all. Praying God gives you the comfort and peace needed at this difficult time.

I met Gerry when he was a detective in Alachua County, about 1980. He was so good at what he did that I persuaded him to join our law firm in Jacksonville as a staff investigator. He became a good friend, and for awhile we roomed together while I looked for an apartment. He taught me to do my laundry and to cook. He could cook for a big crowd with ease and was very funny. I will miss his ready laugh.
My sympathies to Leanne and all of you in his family who were privileged to share his company.
