I served with Joe in HS-15 . He was there for me when I was on track and also when I wondered off . I remember him helping me get my car running for my wife the night before our 6 month deployment . Really sorry for your lost . Joe was a good man to know

I served with Joe at HS-15 from 87-90. He was a senior chief in maint control at the time and I was a brand new pilot. I have lots of great memories of him and I feel for your loss. He was a good man.

Joan and Family, I just hear about Joe and I am truly sorry for your loss. It has been over three years since I lost Alfred. Sometimes it seems like yesterday and other times it seems like forever. Life does go on and we have our memories to help us. I just try to remember the good times. I remember how welcome both of you always made us when we would visit in your home. I remember driving Joe, Alfred, and Scott Moody home from Mayport when they would come in on the ship. Alfred and I thought a lot of Joe and even though we have not been in contact the last few years, he will be missed. Please accept my deepest sympathy.

I can't believe mom (Gerry Thompson) just moved away and Joe passes. I told her tonite after I bumped into Trish. He was the "mayor" of the neighborhood and he will be sorely missed. Mom and I can't make it to the funeral, but you and your family are in our hearts and prayers. He was a wonderful man.
