Julia Theresa "Terry" Hyatt

after suffering a stroke. Terry was born on January 22, 1937 and raised in Norfolk,

Virginia. She attended elementary and secondary schools in Norfolk. Terry married her husband, Alan Hyatt in November, 1985. During her lifetime, Terry resided in several states, including Kansas, Virginia, West Virginia and New York before moving to Florida. Terry was employed by several different companies during her lifetime. After moving to Orange Park in late 1988, Terry's last employment was with the Clay Today Newspaper. Terry is predeceased by her Mother, Father, her daughters Anita Rae Bain, Mary Frances Doerfer and Grandson Patrick Dennis Carey. She is survived by her husband Alan Hyatt of Orange Park, daughters Marcelyn Hodder of Fort Worth, TX, Traci Tracy of Casselberry, Fl her sons Darryl and Richard Doerfer of Greenville, SC and Devon Doerfer of West Palm Beach, Fl and by 10 grand-children and 8 great-grandchildren. Terry is also survived by her former husband Rolland Doerfer of Greenville, Sc. Together they had six children. She was divorced from Mr. Doerfer. A memorial service will be held 2 PM Saturday, July 9, 2016 at HARDAGE-GIDDENS RIVERMEAD FUNERAL HOME, 127 Blanding Blvd Orange Park, FL.
