Julius Rick Cain Jr was born on September 12, 1952 in Natchez Mississippi. He was the son of Julius Rick Cain Sr and Vearlene Gaylor. His grandparents, Steve Gaylor Sr. and Dora Hence Gaylor took an active role in raising Julius as well.
A TIME TO LIVE
Julius was a dedicated and devoted servant of the Lord. He knew that HIS GOD could do all things; and that if we remember to look to him for EVERYTHING, he will supply our every need. He never met a person he didn’t like, and he never knew any strangers. You were either family or friend. His loving, caring, and funny demeanor made you want to be in his presence all the time.
A TIME TO DIE
Julius earned his wings on Thursday May 21, 2020. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Gloria Bindon, his son Byron Barber (Sherry), his niece Vanity L. Gaylor, his nephew Rijius S. Woods and a host of aunts and uncles.
A TIME TO CHERISH
Julius leaves to cherish his precious memories: His step-mother Latifiah Abdullah of Natchez Mississippi, his loving wife Bernadine Cain of Jacksonville Florida; Four daughters, Erica Cain Scroggins (Khalfani) and Rickquette Cain Eason (Rasaan) both of Topeka Kansas, Kimberly Wilson (Woodrow) of Tampa Florida, and Letricia McGee (Floyd) of Jacksonville Florida; two sons, Kahlyn Cain of Jacksonville Florida and Leroy D. McGee Jr of Topeka Kansas. Three sisters, Janiece Cain, Genoise Gaines (Sammy) and Marva Gaylor all of Natchez Mississippi; Three brothers Ernest Gaylor and Gregory Gaylor of Natchez Mississippi and Elbert Cain (Erma) of Waco Texas. Twenty-two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. A host of nieces and nephews along with beloved cousins and dear friends.
