

LaRue K. Huntley, of Doctors Inlet, Florida passed away at home October 21, 2012. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where she served in various auxiliaries and pianist/organist for over 50 years. As a young mother, she served as PTA president for 2 years and president of her local chapter of the Garden Club for 1 year. She was a resident of Clay County (Doctors Inlet) for 70 + years.
She is preceded in death by her husband John W. Huntley, II and survived by her brother Kenneth O. Knabb (Mary Ann), son Walter Huntley, Jr. (Kathy), their children Kaycee, Reagan, Zachary (Chelsey) Jordan; Wayne Huntley (Pat), Kelley (Joe), Kristen (Eric), Karrie (David), Ryan, (Megan); Wendell Huntley (Charlene), Paul (Christy), Jeremy; Wynna Moore (Jimmy), James, Kaylee, Kelsey; Wanda Huntley-Naval (Eduardo “Ed”), John Edward and three beautiful great-granddaughters, McKenzie, Chesney and Codi. Pallbearers will be her grandsons Paul, Ryan, Zachary, Jeremy, Jordan Huntley, James Moore and John Edward Naval, honorary pallbearers her great grandsons, Taylor, Shane, Cole, Mason, Broudy, Maddox, Knox and Rowdy.
Funeral service will be held on, Saturday, October 27, 2012, at 10:00 AM at the Church of Latter-Day Saints Chapel, 780 Water Oak Lane Fleming Island, FL with Bishop Tom Price officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Friday at Hardage-Giddens Rivermead Funeral Home, 127 Blanding Blvd. Orange Park, Florida 32073. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Macclenny, FL.
