Lester G. Holt, age 79, passed away November 29, 2011. He was born in Lepanto, Arkansas and had lived in Orange Park for 35 years. Mr. Holt was a Master Sergeant in the Air Force serving 24 years, following his military service he worked for the Times Union Newspaper retiring after 20 years of service. Survivors include his wife Renate Holt, 2 sons Eric S. (Rhonda) Holt and Christopher E. Holt, 2 daughters Diana L. Wilkinson (Chris) and Peggy D. Williams (David) 4 sisters, Mary J. Stevens, Carolyn Welles, Judy Jewel and Darlene Ronzone, 6 grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at 10:00 AM at Advent Lutheran Church, Orange Park, with Pastor Bob Hale officiating. The family will receive friends Monday from 6 to 8 PM at HARDAGE-GIDDENS RIVERMEAD FUNERAL HOME 127 Blanding Blvd. Orange Park, FL. Interment with full military rites will be in Holly Hill Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorials made be made to Community Hospice of North East Florida or Advent Lutheran Church.
