A reminder came up on my email about Lillie's death, and that started all kinds of thoughts. This past Summer, Tad came by Lillie's old rental house, and I was remodeling it when he came by. He stopped and gave me an update how and what caused Lillie's death. Tad is a great example of the influence of Lillie. He is a very hard working young fellow, who seems to be a real gentleman. As for my old friend Lillie, she was one of the best ever. I never had any complaints from her, nor about her. I essentially loved her like my sister. 
On this 15th of March, I recommend that you all stop and just remember what an awesome lady she was, and perhaps incorporate some small portion of her way of doing things into your own life. You can't go wrong with that as your guide. 
Looking at the picture of her as a young girl, I can't help but wonder how much fun it must have been for those who had the chance to actually know her at that time. May God bless all of Lillie's children, and grand children, and other descendants down through the years. 

To all of the descendants of Lillie. She was a bright light in a sometimes dark world. She rented a house from me in Dixon Mo. for several years. To know Lillie was to love her, and I loved her like she was my big sister. My world has certainly become darker with her passing. No one ever deserved a long life more then Lillie. I pray that each of you remember the person she was, and use that as a pattern for your lives. You can't go wrong with that as your guide.

Mother how do we go on without you. You are our ROCK! Who am I going to call when I'm mad or need advice about flowers or one of your many recipes. You are one of the hardest working woman  I know. You worked 2 jobs to give Cindy & I anything we wanted & never ever complained about it. You made all of our lives better. If we needed anything, you made sure we got it. All the holidays, birthdays are going to be so hard without you and your birthday is coming up soon. I miss you & love you so much My life is forever changed without you.

I love you and miss you more and more every day. I will miss your laughter and how you always made me smile. You always told me how proud you were of me, however, if it weren't for you - I surely wouldn't be who I am now. You had a profound impact on my life. You were kind and generous and accepted everyone for who they were, even if they did not give back to you. You were an exceptional woman!

She will be missed by all. As fourth cousins we spent several days visiting our kinfolk in cemeteries in Greene County.  Since then we visited many times via telephone and her visit to see me and my sister in Oklahoma.

Aunt Lillie sure enjoyed a good joke and was a funny woman who loved to laugh!  Hard to believe she's gone; she had the kind of personality that you just felt like she would always be there.  You will be missed Aunt Lillie!

aunt was a wonderful lady who I had the pleasure to meet during my wedding to her niece! Such a kind and caring woman that I had numerous conservations over the years always asked how are you? The end of are talks she would say I love you! I will never forget how happy she was to be included in are wedding with a special place to sit and she had a corsage! The smile she had that we included her in are wedding party was priceless! I will never forget how happy we made her.I have a photo of aunt ,Jackie and myself taken at are reception.I will forever cherish that picture! Everyone in the family lost a mother,aunt,grandma,and a dear friend.Heaven gained a special angel! Rest in peace dear lady ,your work on earth is done.I will never forget you! God Blees you and your family!!!!
