

Mary Frances Brantley-Rio, 42, passed away September 28, 2014 in Lake City, FL. She was born in Ocala, FL, graduated from Toombs County High School in 1990, was employed by Lafayette Health Care Center, Mayo, FL and was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. Mary was an organizer for Relay for Life with the American Cancer Society. She was a fighter till the end and refused to give into death. Mary was predeceased by her sister, Shonnie Lott and step-father, Fred Brantley. She is survived by her loving daughters: Megan Cheyenne Victoria Brantley of Gainesville, FL and Cierra Elizabeth Tavie Brantley-Howard of Jacksonville, FL; mother and step-father, Janie V. (Ronnie) Harden of Mayo, FL; father and step-mother, Richard A. (Karen) Coffelt, Jr. of Jacksonville, FL; 3 brothers: Donald “Donnie” Brantley of Mayo, FL, Nick Harden of Goose Creek, SC and Jeffrey A. “Jeff” Coffelt, Sr. of Jacksonville, FL; 3 sisters: Shannie (Lannie) Sanders of Hernando Beach, FL, Kimberly A. (Bob) Hodge of Portland, IN and Cassandra A. Coffelt of Jacksonville, FL; and several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, 5-8 PM and funeral services will be held 11 AM, Thursday, October 2, 2014 at New Hope Baptist Church, 1370 N. State Road 51, Mayo FL with Pastor Charlie Walker officiating. Burial will follow in New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery.
