Mary J. Guilford, 91, passed away on August 3, 2015. She was born August 24, 1923 in Palatka, Florida and resided in Orange Park. She was an LPN, She worked at Shands, Dr.Course and Dr. Ferguson, St Vincent's and NAS Jacksonville, then she was moved to Cecil Field. She served for 22 years for the Navy. She retired from Cecil Field. She also enjoyed crocheting layette sets for the preemie babies for Navy Relief. Mrs. Guilford is survived by her son; William C. Guilford Jr. (Lynne), 3 grandchildren; Bill Guilford, John Guilford and Monette Holmes (Jason) and 6 great grandchildren; Will Guilford, Marie Guilford, Autumn Guilford, Montana Guilford, Kyle Forbes and Caleb Holmes. A memorial service will be held 10am Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at Cedar Hills Baptist Church, 4200 Jammes Road Jacksonville, FL.
