Nicholas Owen Estep, 23, passed away suddenly on June 22, 2026. He was born in Orange Park, Florida. Nick loved spending time with family and friends, camping, going to the beach, taking his dogs on long walks, and doing anything that involved speed like auto racing and riding his four-wheeler.
He is survived by his loving father and mother, Rick and Michelle Estep, brother and best friend, Garrett Estep, maternal grandmother, Shirley Vargason, paternal grandparents, Earl and Bertha Estep, aunts, Cindy (Rick) Caccavello, Melissa (Jason) Davis and Tammy Perry, cousins, Taylor and Sophia Encarnacion, Ricky and Tyler Caccavello, Kayla and Kyle Davis, Zach Perry, Melissa (Daniel) Parker, David Robinson and Riley Parker and the two greatest dogs in the world, Max and Kilo.
He was preceded in death by maternal grandfather, Charles Myers (PawPaw). He is also survived by a host of other incredibly special friends and family whom he loved dearly and who loved him.
Nick was an amazing son, brother, and friend and was so full of life and laughter. His sense of humor was the best. He lived life to the fullest and was always down for an adventure. We know he is racing the golden streets in Heaven where there is no speed limit because according to him, he was the best driver in the world.
Since Nick loved animals, we are requesting that in lieu of flowers, a donation be made in his name to the Jacksonville Humane Society.
He will be greatly missed and will never be forgotten.
