Paula Estelle McGuire, age 63, of Jacksonville, Florida passed away on Thursday, September 16, 2021. Paula was born in Crossett, Arkansas and is greatly loved by those who have had the privilege of experiencing her presence throughout this lifetime. Paula has so many amazing accomplishments throughout her life but all who know her well can testify that her family was her greatest accomplishment of all. She did everything out of love for her family. If you were not her family and she allowed you to enter in...you are family for life. Mom loves her family unconditionally. We always knew no matter what accomplishment OR failure we shared with her, we never had to fear her love would be withheld. This kind of sacrificial, undying and unconditional love reminds us of the love of Jesus Christ, her anchor. He grounded mom in this love and we will honor her memory by sharing THIS kind of love in the world throughout our own lives.
Paula is survived by her loving husband, Richard E. McGuire; Mother, Lanier Virginia Mann; Step-mother, Mary Pippen Brandon; Children, Angela Smith (Richard Smith), Richard Joiner, Leslie Miller (Robby Miller); Siblings, William (Bill) Gaught (Lynn Gaught), Wanda Earlene McGhee (Dan McGhee), Jamie Nell Morman, Dwayne Eddie Gaught, Robert Matthew Gaught (Shelly Gaught), Jon Gaught (Kathy), Todd Gaught, Shannon Murphy (Jeff), Justin Gaught (Melissa), Cheri Dunham Porcari, Leigh Quintero; Grandchildren, Nathaniel Miller (Yurixi Miller), C'aira Miller, Noah Miller, Amber Smith, Asher Smith, Emma Smith; Great Grandchild, Avery Miller; a host of extended family/friends; and those gone before are her father, James Robert Gaught and brother, Homer Benjamin Gaught.
Funeral Services will be held 1 PM, Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at Hardage-Giddens Rivermead Funeral Home, 127 Blanding Blvd, Orange Park, FL with visitation held 1 hour prior to service from 12-1 PM. Graveside will follow at Jacksonville Memory Gardens.
