Dr. Richard Lee Bailey was born on October 10, 1940 and passed on January 27, 2025. We'll never forget your winning and loving ways. From your constant support while teaching in class, to your resounding laughter that everybody could hear, to of course, the always present "Uncle Richards hugs and kisses" for family and friends. It's okay to take off your class shoes and rest easy because your true family knows that Yahweh himself had already replaced them with the shoes of the gospel of peace.
Dr. Bailey has been laid to rest at the Jacksonville National Cemetery, located at 4083 Lannie Rd., Jacksonville, Florida 32218 in section 15 and grave 239.
A Celebration on Life will be held at Eileen Kinley's residence on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at 3:00 pm with military honors.
