Robert Kenneth Shafer, age 84, of Middleburg, Florida passed away on Monday, October 14, 2024.

He was born in Portland, Oregon and served his country proudly in the US Navy, retiring after 26 years of service.

He was predeceased by his wife, Maxine M. Shafer; son, Robert K. Shafer Jr. and daughter: Lonnie Carpenter.

Robert is survived by his daughters: Sherry Shafer, Genny Carpenter and Peggy Files; son, Shawn Carpenter; sister, Sharon Jordan; grandchildren:Corey Marshall, Joseph Eddy and Anthony Alaniz; great-grandchildren: Skylain Clarke, Kendal Gabriel, Chelsie Coulter, Kaden Rogers and Mathew Alaniz.

A graveside service for Robert will be held Tuesday, November 12, 2024 from 11:00 AM at H. Warren Smith
