

Robert James Snowden of Middleburg, FL, died on September 28th, 2015 at the St Vincent Medical Center, Jacksonville, FL. Bob was born on January 14, 1954 in Manitowoc, WI, to James and Joy (Fredrick) Snowden. He graduated from Lincoln High School with the Class of 1972. He attended the University of Wisconsin. Bob was an artist that enjoyed his various artistic talents. He enjoyed his hobby of growing and creating Bonsai trees, creating and building model train layouts, building military planes and a variety of models. He enjoyed the history of the Great Lakes ships, especially the tug boat Butterfield that his great grandfather David Fredrick was chief engineer. He enjoyed playing his guitar. He is survived by his father, James of Middleburg, FL; two brothers: Thomas Snowden of Middleburg, FL and David and Cathy Snowden and Calvin Justice of Orange Park, FL; three aunts: Eva Niquette of Manitowoc, WI, Florence Busse of Manitowoc, WI and Alice Hartlaub of Naperville, IL; one uncle and aunt, Terry and Marie Snowden of Spring Grove, MN; a special friend, Nora; and his beloved cat, Missy. Bob was preceded in death by his mother and grandparents: Clarence and Lucille Fredrick and George and Eva Snowden.
Cremation has taken place. A funeral service and burial of the cremains will be at a later date in Manitowoc, Wisconsin.
