Ronald Adams Garner entered heaven’s gates on January 16, 2021 at the age of eighty-one. Ron was raised in North Jacksonville and was a 1957 graduate of Andrew Jackson High School. He was employed with Winn Dixie Stores for forty years serving in many executive roles within the Southeast. Ron enjoyed playing golf, riding his Goldwing with friends, Bennie and Mike, and the Florida Gators.
He was a loving husband to his wife of sixty-one years, Charlotte (Wells) Garner. A wonderful father to four children: Ronda, Andy (Connie), Pam (Kris) and Nick (Kim). A doting “GrandDaddy” to seven grandchildren: Candice, Cassidy, Adam, Lauren, Lindsey, Tereza and Leah; and a proud great grandfather to ten.
Ron was a faithful servant of Christ and served as an Elder for over thirty years. The last twenty-five years at the Lakeside Church of Christ in Orange Park, Florida.
Ron is predeceased by his daughter Pam and his four siblings: Jeanette Parks, Bobbie Gumtow, Charlie Garner and twin brother, Donald Garner.

Services will be held at Lakeside Church of Christ, 2539 Moody Avenue, Orange Park, FL on Saturday, January 23rd at 11:00 AM. The family will receive guests beginning at 10:00 AM. The family requests that guests adhere to COVID guidelines with social distancing and wearing masks.
