Shirley Mae Winrod Green, age 85, passed away October 25, 2020 in Jacksonville, Florida. She attended Minerva High School, where she received her High School Diploma. Shirley was a bookkeeper in retail. She resided previously in Canton, Ohio & Fort Myers, Florida. Shirley enjoyed watching sports especially the Florida State Seminoles, the Miami Dolphins and the Atlanta Braves. Shirley was a member of the JOY class at Oakleaf Baptist Church and always enjoyed spending time with her friends.
Shirley was predeceased in death by her husband, William W. Green. She is survived by her three children: daughter Rhonda (Wayne) Carmichael, son Thomas (Barbara) Green and daughter Rebecca (Dominic) Buda. Shirley is survived by her seven grandchildren: Jason (Alex) Green, Clint (Natalie) Green, Breck Cheshire, Gwen (Kevin) Doyle, Ryan (Dyna) Cheshire, Emily Carmichael and Elizabeth (Jake) Garner. Shirley is survived by her six great grandchildren: Alexia Green, Gavin Green, Lexi Cheshire, Hayesley Doyle, Wyatt Green, and John Cheshire. Shirley is also survived by a great great granddaughter, Sophia Mae.

Visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 29, 2020 at Oakleaf Baptist Church, 800 Oakleaf Plantation Parkway, Orange Park, Florida 32065 . Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday at the church. Dr. Robert Ball will serve as officiant. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 31, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Lee Memorial Park in Fort Myers, 12777 State Road 82 Fort Myers, FL., 33913.
