Sumilang Angeles Jimenez

Sumilang "Sally" Angeles was born 12/17/1935 in Maragondon, Philippines officially the 6th class municipality in the province of Cavite, Philippines. She grew up with her parents Esmaraldo and Jauna Angeles, older sister Rosalina, and younger brother Esmaraldo Jr. There she finished School at Cavite High and furthered her studies by attending Far Eastern University one of the leading private universities in the Philippines. She received her General Education Degree and went on to be a teacher and taught High School and College level students. After several years she met and married our father Augustine Jimenez.

Our Dad enlisted with the US Navy and later brought our mom to the US where they both became PROUD Naturalized US American citizens. Later had children Jason (son) and Jinah (daughter) and after moving from navy base to navy base settled in Jacksonville, Fl. along with other great Filipino families growing up at Mayport Naval Base. Mom continued to work in Education as a teachers aid in Duval County, schools like Woodland acres Elementary, Hogan Springs Elementary, and Justina Elementary. After retirement her and our father enjoyed their golden years with their children and grandchildren, travel and cruise and enjoy the love of their family and friends.

Memorial Services will be held at a later date in California.
