William was a Heavy Equipment Technician at Ring Power Corporation, where he was recently recognized for his 25-year employment anniversary. While he spent much of his time working on large machinery professionally, his love for mechanics was also evident in his personal life. He was known for being able to repair and maintain many different things. Aside from mechanics, he enjoyed playing gospel hymns on the piano and had a great love for all of God’s creatures, from his own pets at home to the wild critters outside.
He was also very fond of Star Trek, Rocky movies, Star Wars, and Charles Bronson. He had a smoker that he would use on the weekends, he loved to smoke pork chops, burgers, and chicken wings. His food was always delicious. William was a kind-hearted person, had a great sense of humor, and showed compassion to everyone he met. He would surprise his friends and family with his clever jokes. Above all, he was a God-fearing man with strong faith who loved his family and friends. He will be missed by everyone who knew him.
William is survived by his wife of 23 years, Donna Barrow, daughter Rhiannon, parents William and Paula Barrow, brother Daniel Barrow and a host of extended family and friends who will miss him dearly. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, William and Laura Barrow, and Paul L. and Clara Synhoff.
