To the family of Alice McGinnis I extend my sincerest sympathy. I will always treasure the opportunities I had to share time with each and everyone of you. It was because of the friendship that developed between your mom and dad that I had this privilege. Joe and Alice were a couple that always welcomed me into their life and their home. With that act of love, I was given the blessing of marrying, baptizing, burying so many. I will always treasure the memories I have of experiences I will never forget. The love shared by Joe and Alice will always reflect the love that God has for us. Now together, once again, may they rest in peace!

Joe, Scott, Chris, Brad & Jennifer,
Please accept my sincere condolences. Your mom was a wonderful person and lived a full life surrounded by a loving husband and five great children. She was always smiling and laughing.

I was in awe of her after I had my own family. When my babies were little there were many days I’d thinke“Wow, Alice McGinnis raised five great kids , with a husband who traveled every week and she had no nanny/baby-sitter and no cleaning lady!” She was a Rock Star!!!

Mrs. McGinnis was our second mom because we grew up two houses down and our parents became best friends. She was a classy woman and loved her family and friends whole-heartedly. When I was a kid at St. Linus, I always felt like I knew a real star when she sang at Way Off Broadway and I could tell my classmates “I know her”. Rest In Peace and sing beautiful songs in heaven.

My memory of Mrs McGinnis was one that was probably 45-50 years ago but has stuck with me. I was invited to the McGinnis house for Christmas Eve and she was so gracious and kind. I remember her telling me to ignore the family chaos. I promptly told her that I came from a large family also (5) and was very use to this. She gave me a hug and said, “Ok you will fit right in.”.
Rest In Peace Alice.

To the McGinnis family I extend my sympathies and prayers to each of you.

Alice was a beautiful, loving soul who I was luck enough to call my mother-in-law. She made the world a brighter place. I am so grateful to have had her in my life.
We will miss you, dear Alice.
