I used to fly with Cliff I was a flight attendant based at Chicago for American Airlines. I was based there from 1969 until 1988 so I had many opportunities to fly with Cliff and all of them were enjoyable. He was a truly nice, kind man. I know you will all miss him very much. RIP Cliff.

My dad. My hero. Daddy. Pops. Poppy. Grandpa.
I felt safe growing up. Daddy made me feel that way. I felt loved. I knew he loved spending time with us kids. He was the best dad. I told him that often.
He could fix anything! Cars, bikes, toys, broken hearts.
He loved my mother...what a gift to his children.
I have so many memories. Too many too elaborate. Camping trips, holidays, family times, sad times, happy times.
Here are a few I hold dear.
While downtown seeing the Christmas lights, I heard the “Christmas Waltz” being piped over a speaker. I asked him if he’d dance with me...and he took me in his arms & we spun around... right there on the sidewalk. He made the young woman I was so happy.
And I remember him, every year, putting up the outdoor Christmas lights, the Christmas tree...all the while whistling or singing jingle bells...always smiling while doing it.
I will miss my sweet daddy. I will hold him dear, and close to my heart.

Funny how life goes full circle. I have so many wonderful memories of my father. As a little girl he took me by the hand and showed me the wonders of the world. We were constant companions this last decade and I held his hand frequently. God gave me the gift of giving back and it warms my heart and soul. I will always carry him in my heart ♥️

He was the best Dad ever! Always ready to help, or encourage, or yell!!! (I’m sure it was for a good reason!) But my biggest memory is how protective he was of his kids. Whether it was to carry me up a mountain in Yosemite because I was scared, or getting in the water and holding tight while teaching me to water ski, or offering words of encouragement when my kids faced illness and injury....he was ALWAYS there. Love you Dad...forever💞
