Borneman, Delphine Margaret, “Del” (Ryzner), age 88, passed away Monday April 26, 2021. She was a graduate of Kelly H.S.in 1950 and received a Bachelor of Education from Chicago Teachers College in 1954. She resided in Chicago and then the south suburbs, retiring in 1976. Del’s talents were many; she was blessed with a beautiful singing voice, and sang in the choir at Saint Michael’s Parish in Orland Park, IL, as well as the Singers of Note, at Smith Crossing Village. She had a flair for writing and sewing, was an avid bowler and golfer, enjoyed playing Mahjong, Yahtzee and completing word puzzles. She loved traveling, and unknown to some, possessed quite an array of butterfly knick-knacks. She was strong in faith, and served at Saint Michael’s Parish as a grief support person and leader of the “Christ Renews His Parish” program. She prayed the Rosary, believed strongly in Mary the Mother of God as her intercessor of prayer and her favorite saying was “God Loves You And So Do I”. She was fiercely independent, but completely devoted to her friends and family. And most of all, her grandchildren and great grandchildren were her pride and joy. Each one had a special place in her heart.
Delphine is preceded in death by her devoted parents Edward Musial and Pearl (nee Jopek); sister Marlene (the late Nick) Stimac; her two loving husbands Walter J. Ryzner and Ronald Borneman and a caring son in law Adam Kielbasa
