Edward J. Armbruster, age 88, US Army Veteran, passed away suddenly on December 3, 2023. Loving husband of 58 years to Leah Armbruster, nee Hazen; Beloved father to Karl (Laura Maressa) Armbruster, Brooke (Nick) Haidamaka, and Keri (Mark Garland) Armbruster; Cherished grandfather to Giancarlo Armbruster and Elisabeth Maressa, along with Yelena and Olivia Haidamaka; Dear brother to Lara (John) Focci, Ethel Prokaski, the late Mary (Willie) Walin, the late Edna Armbruster, Patty (Gary) Sager, Paul Armbruster, and the late Bonnie (Robert) Matulis; Uncle and cousin to many. Ed was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Nellie Armbruster, nee Antrim.
Visitation for Ed will be from 3-8 PM on Monday, December 11, at Orland Funeral Home, 9900 W 143rd, Orland Park, IL 60462 where a Funeral Service will take place at 6 PM. Interment at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL will be private.
