Eileen M. Nordstrom Tobin, age 93, was born in Chicago on July 29, 1926, and passed on September 13, 2019, surrounded by her loving family. Eileen was the beloved wife of the late Clarence "Bud" Nordstrom and the late John Tobin; loving mother of Kathleen (James) Brassell, Patricia (Michael) Boskey, Barbara (George) Lucas, Richard (Andrea) Nordstrom, and George (Kimberly) Nordstrom; adoring grandmother of Kevin (Lucy), Meghann (Paul), Patrick (Becca), Ryan (Michelle), Tara (Mark), Michael (Amy), Andrew, Clare, Collin, Madison, and George; most adoring great-grandmother of McKayla, Oliver, Elliot, Josephine, Joshua, Jolene, Teegan, Ellery, Sloane, Grace, and Liam; cherished sister of the late Margaret Nordstrom and Mary Larrison; dear daughter of the late Michael & Mary Collins; caring cousin; unforgettable aunt, sister-in-law; and fond friend of many.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 18th, from 3:00pm to 7:00pm at Orland Funeral Home, 9900 West 143rd Street, Orland Park, Illinois 60462.

A prayer service will be held on Thursday, September 19th, at 10:15am at Orland Funeral Home, 9900 West 143rd Street, Orland Park, Illinois 60462, and processing to St. Michael Catholic Church, 14227 Highland Avenue, Orland Park, Illinois for a funeral mass at 10:45am. Interment at Holy Sepulchre, 6001 West 111th Street, Alsip, Illinois 60803.

So many memories of my Grandmother.....but the one that I will miss the most is her voice. She had this sweet tone to her voice, and I loved hearing it especially over the phone. Every single conversation would end with I love you dear heart, God Bless.
