I have known Eric for two decades. Inside Anixter as well as outside. We were the DJ at a number of his events and went out usually on Friday night after work when he was at the Alsip location on Central. We babysat his animals when he went out and my kids enjoyed playing his Sega Genesis while we babysat. His marvelous rendition of "Wanted Dead or Alive" was brought to recognition again when it was played at Laura and his wedding. He truly will be missed. From our family to your's and Laura's the deepest sympathy and prayers for comfort.

I worked with Hasse for a couple of years at Anixter. We first met in 2008 during bowling season and ended up becoming teammates in 2009 and 2010, with 2010 being our championship year. He was the anchor of our team, not just for a bowling score, but his personality and enthusiam for life. After our bowling games, we'd hed to the pub, fire up the jukebox, and sing 80's rock songs while playing air guitar. He seemed to always have a smile on in face. I will miss that.  My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. May he rest in peace.

I had the honor and privilege to work with Eric at Anixter for many years both in Alsip and Glenview. He was a fun guy to be around and will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire Haase family.

Eric has been a mentor to me from my first day at Anixter over 11 years ago.  I had the privilege of working on a team with him for a number of years.  I owe much of my professional success to him.  Eric was a great man whose legacy will be kept alive by family and friends.  My deepest sympathy to the entire Haase family.

Worked with Eric years ago (Anixter Alsip on Central) and had many good time with him at work as well as outside including golf outings and after work drinks/karaoke etc. My thoughts are with Erics family and friends.

My prayers are with Eric and his family and friends. I knew Eric a long time ago during the SLAB days.  What a great man gone too soon.

Although I haven't seen Eric for a couple decades, I do remember him being over our house all the time with my younger brother, Billy. Eric and the gang would always be having fun in what they coined as the "S.L.A.B." (Stay Late At Bills).
