Eva Elizabeth Lindgren

Eva "Eve" E. Lindgren, age 94, of Chicago, IL and Marco Island, FL, passed away on October 22, 2025. Beloved Wife of the late Larry for a loving 65 years. Devoted Mother of Mark (Vivian) and Paul (Eileen). Proud Grandma of Jen (Mark) Schnake, Laura (Matthew) Maiers, Brad (Sydnee), Michael, and Chris (Vincent); and Great-Grandma of Nolan, Kaylee, Evelyn, and Hayden. Dear Daughter of the late Henry and Eva, nee Brust, Schmidt. Fond Sister of the late Barbara (the late Fred) Nitz. Loving Aunt, Cousin, and Friend of many.

Eve was born and raised in Chicago. She attended O'Toole Grammar School, Harper High School, and was a member of Hope Lutheran Church where she met her husband Larry. They were married there in 1953. Eve was very active in the church choir and Anchor Club. Eve and Larry moved to Marco Island, Florida in the early 1990s. While on Marco she served at Marco Lutheran Church in many areas such as the choir, rummage sale, reader, communion assistant, and Christmas tree decorator. In 2024 Eve moved to Marian Village in Homer Glen, IL to be close to family. She loved Marian Village and treasured the friendships and relationships she made at this wonderful community.

Eve was always willing to serve the Lord and her life reflected her servant heart. Eve's legacy is one of faith, family, friendship, and kindness. It was an honor to know her and to be loved by her.

A private service will be held in Florida at a later date.
