To the Elsberg Family,
It came as a disbelief when I heard of Jimmys passing. Especially since the family had reunited to celebrate his 60th Birthday. I can imagine that as he celebrated his life on earth, when he entered the heavens, he received another celebration of eternal life. He was called to sit at the banquet table with our Lord and was assigned his crown.

The Medina Family gathers to join you in mourning and in prayer. Jimmy and my brother Marcos were best friends growing up. I can still hear him making up words to the Spanish songs that would make us roll with laughter. He loved my mother’s cooking. We always said he was just another son, brother and friend. We loved his humbleness and kind spirit and will cherish the wonderful memories he left in our hearts.

You will be missed my little brother. Make sure you belt out those Spanish songs when you’re in the presence of our Almighty Father. I’m sure you will make him laugh.

Your memories remain forever in our hearts. 😢🙏🏼.

Love Always,
Parents, Juan and Aida Medina
Siblings, Aida, Marcos, Lourdes and Jose Medina

I'll greatly miss my friend and brother Jimmy. Over the course of the last few years I have had the benefit of his friendship and encouragement. It was always a pleasure when we served together in ministry or just talked. His love and trust of our Lord Jesus was always evident in every conversation, as was his love for his family. I will especially miss his daily sharing scripture with the men of New Life. Rest easy my friend you are home.

Jimmy and I went to grammar school at St.Stephen. We had good times. We had a lot of fun going to Washington DC for our eighth grade trip. It was always great seeing posts from you on Facebook. I told my brother David to watch over you in heaven. I'm so sorry. You are in a better place. We will see each other one day down the road.
