James M. Quirk beloved husband and life-long companion of over 50 years the late Joann (nee Rosecrans). Proud uncle to Duane, Chris and Mark Rosecrans. Jim retired from Western Electric after 30 years of service at the Hawthorne Plant in Cicero, IL. He first met Joann, who eventually became the most important part of his life while being stationed at Granite City, IL at the end of his 2 year hitch in the army, working on the same base. Jim was also an avid fan of the White Sox and Blackhawks, with Billy Pierce and Nellie Fox his favorite baseball players of all time. Visitation Monday from 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at the Zimmerman- Sandeman Blake- Lamb Funeral Home 9900 W. 143rd St. Orland Park, IL Interment: Good Shepherd Cemetery.
