James Theodore Walz Jr., age 77, of Orland Park, at rest Thursday, April 21, 2022. Beloved husband of Denise. Loving father of Karen (Richard) Daley, Kim (Mark) Ruesch, Ken (Amy) Walz, Jennifer Walz (Peter Fetzer), and James T. Walz III. Cherished grandfather of Alex, Sarah, Charly, Alexis, Kaden, and Max. James was a longtime and dedicated member of Pipefitters Local 597.
A memorial Mass of Christian Burial for James will be held Monday, May 2, at 11:00 AM at St. Michael Catholic Church, 14327 Highland Ave, Orland Park. Interment to follow at Good Shepherd Catholic Cemetery, Orland Park. Arrangements entrusted to Orland Funeral Home.
Following the cemetery there will be a family luncheon at the Front Row Bar & Grill 14903 Founders Crossing, Homer Glen, IL. The family extends an invitation to all that cannot attend the memorial Mass to please join them from 3 PM until 6 PM at the Front Row Bar & Grill for a continuing celebration of Jim’s life.
