December 19, 1960January 15, 2020

Jeffrey W. Sparks, 59, beloved husband of Kim Nogle; devoted father of Carter and Logan; loving son of Sonja (nee Browning) and the late Ralph Sparks, Jr.; dearest brother of Bernadine Skaggs and Brian Sparks; also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. A Memorial Mass will be held Thursday, January 23, 2020, 10:45 AM at St. Michael Church, 14327 Highland Avenue, Orland Park, Illinois 60462. In lieu of flowers, memorials for the Sparks Children’s Education Fund will be appreciated. Please send to 13547 Lost Boy Lane, Homer Glen, IL 60491 in care of Carter and Logan.

Jeff fought as hard as he could all the way until the end and God called him home. He was a phenomenal Father who always jumped in like he was one of the kids no matter what they were doing. Carter and Jeff always loved to play baseball and include Beabull in the game. Jeff’s sparkling blue eyes and ready smile will forever live in Logan and Carter, AKA Little Jeffrey. Logan and Jeff always loved to read and Daddy loved giving his teddy bear, Logan, big bearhugs. Even until the end he had his dry sense of humor that we all got to know and love. We love you to the moon and back, fly high with the angels and enjoy a stiff drink with your Dad. You deserve it!

Love, Your Crazy

I met Jeff about 8 years ago and immediately you could tell he was great guy. As years went by I got to know Jeff better and a few memories stick in my mind. Sitting around the table listening to his fun facts (why was there a red dot on the 7 up can) the New Years Eve party where we had marathon RLC games, ( Come to think of it he always won, better check the dice!) to the Solution Partners x-mas parties where he consistently was the best dressed guy there. We kind of started a tradition of meeting before the x-mas party with Jeff and Kim and I will miss that this year.

But the thoughts of Jeff I will walk away with the most is how much of an amazing father he was to his boys. He doted on those boys and there was nothing in this world he would not do for them.

You will be missed

Jeff always had a smile for us when you guys visited and most often if the kids were not dragging him in to see Grama he would stop and chat with us . It was heartwarming to see your boys playing out front with him. It was obvious how he adored you and the boys .We will all miss him.

I got to know Jeff at company parties and some outside events such as the Rosemont motorcycle show. His calm spirit and dry sense of humor was fun to be around. I always enjoyed seeing him and looked forward to the next time I’d see him. He was a good man, with a good soul and he will be missed in a world that needs more people like him. Jeff and his family our in our thoughts and prayers.
