John had known Bill since they were young. I met June in 1957. We have many happy memories over the years. Our families got together, quite frequently, when our children were growing up. Our children always looked forward to it. The Fourth of July was always at the Heden’s home. Then it was off to the park for the fire works display. June and I would meet downtown and shop, but the happiest times were when we had lunch together. We would talk and never realize how late it had gotten. When she moved to Arizona we would phone each other frequently. I looked forward to the times she came back to Illinois for a visit and our lunch dates. We were friends that shared many experiences over the years. Our whole family was blessed to have the Hedens in our lives.
