Kenneth J. Kazaitis, Sr., 73, of Orland Park, passed July 15, 2018. Beloved husband of Patricia (nee Benware) for 53 years; loving father of Donna Kazaitis, Tricia (Mike) Schaefer, Scott Kazaitis, Ken (Lori) Kazaitis and Amy (Mike) Holmquist; adoring grandfather of Emily, Lucinda, Seth, Anthony, Nathan, Allison and Brayden; dearest brother of Richard (the late Dorothy) Kazaitis, John (Cheryl) Kazaitis, and Jacquelyn Kazaitis; fond brother-in-law to Ted and Kathleen Dobrocky; Joan Allen, Gene and Kathy Benware; and Joe Benware; cherished uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Ken was an avid fisherman, a fan of 50s era rock & roll, and polka music. He was a proud Lithuanian and loved his kugelis. He was always known to be the life of the party and enjoyed playing cards with family and friends. He was also known as a loyal friend, as reflected by his lifelong friendships, and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Ken, was my brother-in-law. What a character he was, yes he was always the life of the gatherings. So many happy memories of family times. In these later years he surprised me to know of his deep faith. If he heard of someone in poor health, he would say, 'they would be in his prayer list that night." Please add him and his family in your prayers.
