Lillian M. McCarthy (nee Cihak), 86 of Orland Park, IL passed away on Saturday, February 17, 2018. Beloved wife of 67 years to Edward T. McCarthy; loving mother of Jerry (Ann) McCarthy, Jan McCarthy, Karen (Thomas) Kleven, Maureen (the late Thomas) Lynch and Kathy (Trace) Robinson; cherished grandmother of Meghan (Arnold), Kristen (Craig), Phillip (Stephanie), Brett, Ryan, Katherine, Adam, Michael and Emma; loving great grandmother of Cecilia, Jax, and Patrick; dear sister of Rose (Edward) Broniarczyk. Lillian is an aunt and great aunt to many. She is preceded in death by her two sisters Blanche Bogda and Francis Baker, and brother Charles Cihak. A member of St. Michael's Church, was a choir member, worked with the Compassion Ministry Group and belonged to the Altar Rosary Society.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 22, 2018 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Orland Funeral Home 9900 W. 143rd Street Orland Park, IL. Funeral Friday, February 23, 2018 10:00 a.m. from Orland Funeral Home to St. Michael’s Church 14327 Highland Ave Orland Park. Mass 10:45 a.m. Interment St. Michael Cemetery. She was the best mother-in-law ever. I was lucky to have had this wonderful woman in my life. I will miss her very much.
