I was in the class of 1963 at Mother of Sorrows and Jim Cummings was our teacher.  We purchased a baby buggy for Marilyn's newborn.  I was fortunate to be friends with both Jim & Marilyn once I married.  Marilyn was always warm and friendly and delightful company.  May God comfort her family who have lost a wonderful woman.

After 23 years of education, I can honestly say that Mrs. Cummings was my favorite and most memorable teacher. She introduced the love of school/education to me...she was my kindergarten teacher in 1968. My sincerest condolences and heartfelt sympathy for your loss.

Frank and I are so saddened by Marilyn's passing.  We had such a unique friendship with her and Jean.  They have been there for us during our recovery at RIC.  Also we have benefited from MaryLou's and Beth's convents' prayer lists.   Marilyn is now in our prayers for intercession with the Lord on Frank's behalf.

She was so kind to adopt Trevor when he noticed he only had one grandparent while all the other kids had four.  We will miss our visits with Grandma Cummings more than you know.
