Mary Lynne (nee Carr) Gates, age 83 of Oak Lawn, Illinois passed away on Friday, July 14th, 2023. Beloved wife of the late Robert G. Gates, loving mother of Robert V. Gates; dear sister of the late William Carr and the late Alfred (Sylvia Lewis) Carr. Mary was a preschool teach for over 45 years and a devoted and longtime member of Pilgrim Faith UCC Church. She was deeply loved and will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Friends and family will gather for a visitation and funeral services that will be held on Wednesday, July 26th, 2023 at Pilgrim Faith UCC Church, 9411 South 51st Avenue, Oak Lawn, Illinois. Family and friends may gather from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 12:00 p.m. Interment Private.
