(nee Hill); loving father of Barry (Caron) Bettenhausen and Joy Kleber; proud grandfather of Kevin (Tracy) Kleber and Emily Kleber; dear brother of Robert (Colleen), Henry (fiance Patricia), and the late Marie (Melvin) Stege; uncle of many nieces and nephews. Fire Chief of Tinley Park Volunteer Fire Department from 1965 to 1990. Member of Calumet Lodge #716 A.F.&A.M., Medinah Shriners, R.O.J. Court #48, Medinah Greeters, El Hajj, B.O.C. Claw #1, Scottish Rite Valley of Chicago, Past President of Tinley Park Rotary and instrument rated pilot. Resting at the Zimmerman and Sandeman Funeral Home and Cremation Service 9900 W. 143rd St., Orland Park on Saturday from 3 to 8 p.m. Services 12 noon Sunday. Interment Tinley Park Memorial Cemetery.
