Beloved wife of 55 years to Louis J. Ondrus. Loving mother of Tony, Jude and Joseph Ondrus. Dear sister of Albert, Matthew and Paul Auer. Cherished grandmother of Joaquina and Anna.
Rosemary was a teacher at Mount Assisi Academy High School and was a graduate of Southern Illinois University with a bachelor’s degree and DePaul University-Chicago with a master’s degree in education.
Rosemary loved spending time with her family, walking her dog, going to her kid’s hockey games, volunteering and gardening.
She will best be remembered for loving and supporting all her family.
A Memorial Visitation will be held at Orland Funeral Home, 9900 West 143rd Street, Orland Park, Illinois 60462, on July 30, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
