Wayne William Neven

Wayne was born on March 28, 1947, in Chicago, Illinois to Nicholas and Lorraine Neven. From 1966 to 1969, Wayne served in the Marines. He had a career as a salesman working for Honda. Wayne’s passion was spending time with his family and enjoying traveling; he was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-uncle. Wayne is survived by his wife, Michaeline; loving father to Eric and Kurt (Georgeanna); beloved grandfather to Benjamin and Josephine; beloved uncle and great uncle to many nieces and nephews. Proceeded in death by his parents, Nicholas and Lorraine, and his brothers Patrick and Neil.

A visitation for Wayne will be held Sunday, November 9, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Orland Funeral Home, 9900 W 143RD ST, ORLAND PARK, IL 60462.

A prayer service will occur Monday, November 10, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM, 9900 W 143RD ST, ORLAND PARK, IL 60462.

A funeral mass will occur Monday, November 10, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at St Michael Catholic Church, 14327 Highland Ave, Orland Park, IL 60462, followed by a burial at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery at 1:30 PM, 20953 W Hoff Rd, Elwood, IL 60421.
