It is so hard for me to believe uncle BILL is no longer with us. I first met him when I started going to my husband’s 7-Eleven, I use to see him every morning standing with his friends waiving me hi with a big smile on his face every morning as I walked in. We use to talk everyday he had really good sense of humor and great stories to share. He was not just our great customer he was family,if we don’t see him one day we use to ask each other why he didn’t turn up today. I always wanted to see him after I stopped working a while ago after having a baby but he always use to ask my husband about me and my baby’s well being, I regret not making to it. My condolences with his family because we who knew him for short period of time feel soo sad I cannot imagine the pain of his family and friends. May his soul Rest In Peace💐 Miss you uncle Bill💔

I remember Bill from when he installed my telephone system at my first office in Orland Park over 30 years ago. He soon became a patient and soon after that more of a friend. We shared growing up in Oak Lawn and we would talk about the "old" days.

He will be missed. I could always count on him telling me a story that would cheer me up if I was down. Rest in Peace

My papa Bill was the best papa ever. When I was younger he used to take my brother and I to the best parks, for us to play at, even in the winter, because he loved both of us so much. He always took us to fun places like the zoo or Navy Pier, or even to see the planes and helicopters. And even when he didn't feel the best, he always drove us to our favorite restaurant, White Fence Farm, in Romeoville. My papa wasn't just a great grandpa, he was a great dad, uncle, friend. I know he loved going for his morning coffee at 7-Eleven, and seeing all of his friends and police buddies. He was loved by everyone he met, which was a ton cause he loved to talk, and had the best stories. I remember having fun with my best friend Hannah and my brother in the kiddie pool in his backyard or helping feed the squirrels/birds. We had fun playing card/board games, he always won at trivia he was so smart. I hope he's with his family up there, and not in pain. I will love and miss him forever. I love you so much papa 💔❤

There are a lot of people who come in go into our store. Bill was more than a customer, he was a friend. He'd be there every morning and buy his newspaper and coffee and talk to our other regulars.

He always had a smile and a funny joke or story to share. My wife and I want to say how sorry we are to Bill's family for their loss. He was a great man and a good friend.
