Elizabeth “Bette” Brown 68, of Charlotte, North Carolina passed away peacefully on July 12, 2019. She was born on March 20, 1951 to the late Charles Henry and Mary Margaret McGinn. Bette is survived by her daughters, Erin Brown of Orlando, Florida; Kaleen Brown (Rolly) and grandson Brooks of Charlotte, North Carolina; and brother, Charles McGinn (Ann) of Cape Cod, Massachusetts and her fur baby, Baxter.
Bette was an avid crafter and enjoyed scrapbooking with friends. Always the adventurer, she crossed a myriad of activities off her bucket list including bull riding, white water rafting, and documenting life through tattoos.
Bette touched the lives of many as an active member of the FFCC colorguard community, where she served as Vice-President, judge, contest staff member, and “mom” to all of the performers. She truly enjoyed being in the company of others and was loved by many.
Visitation will be held from 4:30pm to 7:00pm with a memorial service to follow from 7:00pm to 7:30pm on Thursday, July 25th at Baldwin-Fairchild Conway Funeral Home, 1413 S. Semoran Blvd., Orlando, FL.
