Arcadio Sotomayor

the late Sinforoso Sotomayor and America Irizarry in Utuado, Puerto Rico. Same place where he later met the love of his life Socorro Beauchamp, and was happily married for 63 years. He was a loving presence in the lives of all who knew him.

Jilly as everyone knew him, was known for his devotion to the Catholic Church, his passion for music, sense of humor, kindness, willingness to help, and his unwavering dedication to his family. He was an Army veteran, and an accountant who worked for over 30 years as an internal auditor for the Puertorican Cement Co. in Puerto Rico before he retired and moved to Orlando Florida.

Jilly is survived by his children Harry and Teresita, Ivelisse and Victor, Javier and Sandra. His grandchildren Francisco and Lauren, Tania, Alexandra, Cristina, Victor Antonio and Brittany, and Alexis Javier. His great-grandchildren, Ariana, Emery, Lucas, Valentina, and Liliana.

A wake will take place on Sunday July 27, 2025 from 5pm to 8pm at Family Funeral Care on 13001 South John Young Parkway, Orlando Florida 32837.

A celebration of his life will be held on Monday July 28, 2025 at 10am at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 12600 Marsfield Avenue, Orlando Florida 32837.

In lieu of flower, the family request that donations be made to The Holy Cross Catholic Church in his honor.
