I’d like to post some pictures John and Lucille(sister) sent me of some fond memories. 

Arlene was my amazing and beautiful grandmother. My nana. My mom.
She raised me, supported me, loved me, unconditionally.  I was blessed for almost 27 years exactly with a lifetime full of amazing memories. One of those memories that will always play in my head is Nana’s laugh. The way when she thought something was hilarious, she would clap her hands together once, throw her head back and laugh out loud. She had the best smile. She was the kind of person that got up every morning to make me an egg sandwich And chocolate milk for breakfast, even throughout high school. She loved her blush and would always ask if she was wearing too much “cheeky” and yes. She always was. 
 We loved making blue berry pies, going to the mall, the movies.
I remember when I was little, my cousin Lynsey and I would always fight over who got to sit in Nana’s lap. Nana always tried to get us to share but I always ended up kicking Lynsey off. 
I loved our trips together. We always had so much fun traveling on the train. Playing games. I remember this one time in New York, nana,papa and I were walking through the snow and nana bends over and picks up a HUGE mound of snow and throws it right at papa. Nana loved showing me where she grew up.
One of the things I’m going to miss most is the thousands of calls a day. Talking on the phone everyday no matter what. 
Nana did anything and everything she could for me.
She accepted Brandon into the family, almost right away. For a little bit Brandon was “that BOYYYY” 
She took Brandon and accepted him as her own grandchild and loved him with everything in her. Just as much as the rest of her grandkids. 
She had the biggest heart of anyone I’ve ever met before. 
When I was little nana and I would walk up and down the side walk singing me and my shadow. 
I will miss her with everything in me. I will make sure that my children know who she was.  She was my whole heart and will forever remain there. I love you nana.

This is Judy, Arlene’s sister. I want to share some lighthearted memories. Arlene loved family gatherings. I remember one Thanksgiving dinner in particular. We were gathered at more than one table at Ken  and Arlene’s home. Jason, my son, asked for Aunt Arlene to pass a roll. She hurled it like a football across the table. We still laugh about that one!  Carolyn and Arlene would squabble like most mom and daughters, but when it got out of hand, one of them would laugh and say, “I love you Carolyn, “ or visa versa.   Carolyn confided to me once that she had secretly bought a Prince record album that her mom said no to. Sorry Arlene , but I kept that secret!  Arlene always had David baking his famous fudge for his aunts for the holidays. I could sure use some of that fudge now, David. And speaking of gatherings, you were warned in advance. When all the sisters were together (Arlene Sharon Lucille and Judy) we all might be talking at once. But don’t interrupt!  We might have 4 different conversations going, but we all always knew what the others were saying. It’s times like these that I miss but will always treasure.  There are so many wonderful memories that will come to me over the next few days. Ken, I know that Arlene was the love of your life. She always felt the same way !  
 RIP Arlene. Dance like no one is watching. XOX. 

Arlene was my sister. She was caring, funny, hardworking, and loving.  Arlene will be remembered as a loving wife, caring sister, giving mother, and a thoughtful and loving Nana. Her world revolved around all she loved, but it especially revolved around those beautiful grandkids.  I pray that our sister, Sharon, and our mother met Arlene at the gates of Heaven.  Although I will miss her, I’m happy to know that another angel is watching over me. Until we meet again Arlene, God Bless.
