Aurea Dolores Perez

Aurea Dolores Perez, 76, of Orlando, Florida, passed away on June 9, 2012. Aurea was born in Guayanilla, Puerto Rico and has been an Orlando resident since 1979. She was one of the first residents of the Hampton Park Apartments. Aurea retired from Orlando Regional Medical Center after many years of dedicated service. Since her retirement from ORMC, Aurea had been a foster grandmother for the Orange County Head Start Program. She was a member of the Sun Vista-Spanish, congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. She is preceded in death by her parents and her siblings. She is survived by her loving son Luis Alfredo Perez and his dear wife Madelyn Aponte-Perez, grandsons Alfredo Ignacio Perez-Aponte and Jeshua Alfredo Perez-Aponte, several nieces, nephews and many long-time friends. A visitation will be held at Carey Hand Colonial Funeral Home, on Thursday, June 14, 2012, from 5pm until time of memorial service at 7pm.
