in South Orange County (Boggy Creek),
She was the youngest surviving child of the late Frank W. and Lucy Chapman Saulsbury,
Betty passed away on Friday, May 24, 2024, at home with her son and daughter-in-law, (Tom and Carla).
She lived the last 6 years of her life in their home in Lake Placid, Florida.
She spent most of her life in Orlando as a successful business woman in Real Estate and Rental Properties. Known as Mom, Grandma, and "Miss Betty" to some, she is survived by her son
Tom Barber (Carla), estranged son, Bill Barber, and was preceded in death by her youngest son, Mike Barber, 25 years ago.
She has 6 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 2 of which preceded her in death, and 1 great, great, grandchild.
Though independent in life, she put her complete trust in the Lord and went to sleep knowing the day of resurrection is coming. She was a lifelong member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 23, 2024, at 11:00am, at Kress Memorial SDA Church in Winter Park. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Pastor Eric Doran will be officiating.
