Billy F. Gaylord, of Orlando Florida, passed on Wednesday, September 21, 2016. He was born on April 14, 1934, in Roper, NC. Billy's devotion to his family and friends were paramount. He enjoyed being a nurseryman and maintaining his homestead and equipment as well as being outdoors. Billy served his country as a US Army 82nd Airborne Paratrooper. Billy is survived by his wife of 59 loving years, Evelyn Gaylord. He is a cherished father of 2 children, Lynette Gaylord and Thomas Gaylord; and is loved and appreciated for his dedication and support of his 4 grandchildren and one great-grandson.
Services will be at the Chapel Hill Cemetery Thursday, September 29, 2016 at 10 a.m.
